Bullying Prevention Month
October is Bullying Prevention Month! According to global reports, about one-third of the world’s population is bullied (UNESCO). Please watch the following video to learn more about the SAFE through the arts program and our upcoming SAFE through the arts television series.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month! Did you know that nearly 20 individuals are physically abused by their partner every minute in the United States? Furthermore, COVID-19 has led to alarming trends and increases in cases of domestic violence (CDC). The “Bricks in the Wall” music video was written and performed in order to increase general awareness of domestic violence regardless of social and economic background, ethnicity, or race.

Show support by wearing orange and purple!
Orange Wednesday, October 20th, is Unity Day for bullying prevention. Purple Thursday is October 21st for Domestic Violence Awareness. Please wear orange and purple on these days to show your support.
